Students will be required to log in using their UofT Web Login. Once you have entered your username and password then "select course" to access the list of courses. Select "FAH313F Greek Myth and Ancient Art" to access the course file.
Once logged in, students can view:
- Course Syllabus
- Lecture slides
- Handouts
- Assignments
- Essay guidelines
Moving the cursor to the top of the web page allows students to access a horizontal menu, including:
- Search
- Browse images
- Artists
These tools will help student research essay topics.
For example, by selecting subject (ie, Temple of Zeus in Olympia), browse images ( ie, Roman) or by artists. However, please note that due to the nature of ancient art (the artist and original function of an object is often lost) items are often described by ownership, geographical location, architectural feature (temple, altar, etc.) and/or medium (vase painting, sculpture, frescoes etc).
*Tip: refining your search terms will produce better results.
